Outside, it looked like this.
I stayed inside and covered my office floor with lots and lots of little squares, like this.
Then started sewing them together, bit by bit.
This quilt will be for my Dad. A friend said it looked “Samuraish”, so I’m calling it that. Maybe with a dash to make it little easier. Samurai-ish.
While I worked, the kittens mostly did this.
So it’s all good here.

I love the combination of those fabrics! I’m surprised your cats weren’t trying to take up residence in the middle of the quilt in progress…at least that is what mine always did. :-)
Ah, that’s why I used the office floor — I can shut the door and keep out the cats! :)
