Quietly Crafting Away …

Spider Jewelry

I haven’t posted for a while because I’m busy with tedious little projects around the house, mostly painting.  With limited time, I’m working bit by bit and there isn’t much to share.  So I thought I’d leave you something pretty to look at — glowing dewdrops collected by a crafty little spider on my back porch.

She can do magic with her “use what you have” lifestyle, can’t she?

  1. thats deep…seriously! :) we decided to stay in our tiny apartment to save money for this year and I told tyler we needed to work with what we got and maybe do some painting …so this little “spidermom” cant wait to see your painting..

  2. Hi, Amanda! Painting works wonders! It’s one of the best makeovers you can do on a budget, it makes the whole room look fresh, clean and new. I’m slowly working on our kitchen/family room. I just finished painting the little breakfast nook area, and the whole space will eventually be this color: http://pinterest.com/pin/115765563/ . It’s funny how one little change leads to so many more though. I had painted our outlet covers and switchplates (you can see them here: https://coopcrafts.com/2009/10/30/i-love-a-cheap-fix/ ) and now that coppery/gold I loved so much is completely wrong. I think I might need to run out this weekend and get a little pot of silver paint (less than $5) and get a fresh new look!
